Personality: ...A Personality? Subject AA has none. Not like you and I would have, anyway. Her mind is a conundrum. There is nothing there, and yet something. Her mind has been inhibited by a special seal on the back of her neck - this gives her a mild electric shock the moment she feels any strong emotions... besides, love, it seems. It is unknown why this is, but it is believed that Subject AA is still subject to human nature, and procreation is something that is necessary for life - therefore AA has a need to fall in love - but usually she looks for those who interest her; for she has an interest in intelligent minds.

Sadly, that is the only real emotion that she shows. Other than that, AA is a master of faces - and can imitate any human emotion to the letter, without truly feeling it. She can smile brightly and greet you warmly without actually being happy or caring for you - everything that she does is an act - simply because she is unable to control the seal. She has no sense of description - everything that she looks at she can only see in black and white, not in shades of grey, so when AA has been asked to describe anything to us, it is nothing but simple statements of fact.

That said, she can put on quite a good show when it comes to acting out her emotions to those around her - especially her target. She's not afraid to get close and personal with them, using her body to charm them into thinking that she wants something to do with them, when in reality all that she wants to do is send her blade through their heart and kill them. It's quite sad, really. Seeing her act like this, it can be strange, sometimes. There are times when the emotional inhibitors fail, and AA sees her own emotions. When this happens, it confuses her greatly.

Her mind is also slightly affected by psychosis - meaning that she has less grip on the reality of situations than most. Combined with her lack of describing skills, she sometimes sees strange items within her vision, that don't always exist - her hallucinations are supposedly caused by the Reiatsu overload within her brain. She can also have a tendency to take in too much information: so it is advised that all personnel avoid giving her more than specifics in mission details.

If the seal was to be destroyed or removed, then her true personality would show itself. As Ayama Akihiro, AA is timid and wouldn't kill for any reasons bar self-preservation. Her fighting lacks motivation, and she is unable to use her abilities to her full extent - further conditioning will be required, the seal is currently a weak spot.

This seal has been placed upon the back of AA's neck by Twelfth Division member {NAME ERASED} in order to inhibit the unnecessary emotions that would otherwise slow her own progress within missions. When the Subject begins to feel said emotions, the Reiatsu stream within her body changes. In order to purge this foreign Reiatsu, the seal creates an electric shock with the strength of a [HADO 4] in order to incapacitate the Subject and render her both nigh on unconscious, and in a state of null emotion once more. The emotions that it disables include and branch off of, but are most certainly not limited to:

Kaguyahime is the name of AA's spirit. Like her master, she has been emotionally inhibited by the nature of AA's seal - however, the pain of failure is not so great as to knock this spirit unconscious. This sadly means that there is still some emotion left in Kaguyahime's eyes - which has, more than once, affected AA's battle prowess and ability. This requires further study, as AA needs perfect unison with her zanpakuto to be able to perform correctly in battle.

Shikai Description: Once she has released her zanpakuto, Ansatsu-sha copies itself, creating a pair of short kodachi blades, one in each of AA's hands. This has been confirmed as a single-wield zanpakuto - the use of two blades is nothing more than cosmetic, it seems. While this is unconfirmed as to whether this is necessary, the option of holding a second blade means that AA is able to fend off multiple opponents.

Shikai Abilities:

Jinsokuna Tejun - (lit. Quick Step) - This ability allows for AA to use two flash-step maneuvers in a row, without being noticed between them; this allows for her to cover a slightly greater distance without being noticed. This is imperative for stealth missions, where both speed and invisibility are highly required. This takes one post to use, lasts for a single pair of steps, and takes two posts to cool down.

Tori no Nakigoe - (lit. Bird Call) - With this ability, AA is able to mimic the cry of any bird that she chooses - in order to be able to hide from enemy ears. One post use, one cooldown.

Akaruku - (lit. Brighten) - AA can create a small ball of Reiatsu between either one of the kodachi and another object; this is able to be the other kodachi blade. This Reiatsu then expands with a sudden flash of light, blinding those around her for a single post. While this can be used to incapacitate a target for assassination, AA can also be affected by this - it is better off used to escape from the company of undesirables. One post use, two cooldown.

Gisō - (lit. Camouflage) - By moving in close to an object and channeling her Reiatsu correctly, AA is able to create a physical covering over her body that mimics the object behind her - a near-perfect camouflage to both physical and reiatsu senses. There is still a small Reiatsu pulse that can be detected, however, as well as the physical shape being somewhat noticeable, if not as much as usual. While using this ability, AA is unable to move, or the camouflage disappears. One post use - one cooldown; the ability lasts until AA moves.

Sanshin - (lit. Three Strikes) - When AA attacks an opponent, she is able to create a pair of afterimages that attack the target afterwards, doing 50% of the damage that she caused to them previously, each. Each attack is slightly different in direction from and towards, yet mimics AA's movement in the first attack. This means that although the approaches are unpredictable, the motions are easy enough to block. One post use, four cooldown.

Release: Watashi no kurai, ansatsu-sha o hyōji suru. (Show me the dark, Assassin)

Bankai Description: Due to previous inhibitors placed upon her, AA is unable to access or understand her bankai as of this time. The Twelfth Division is unaware as to what it may possibly be.

AA was discovered in the Shino Academy when she went under the name Amaya Akihiro. We found that she was already profound in the arts of Shunpou and Hakuda, making her the perfect subject for our intrinsic testing. Upon discovery, she was invited to the halls of the Twelfth Division, and drugged into a stupor - we had made a deal with the Omnitsukido to provide them with a single assassin, this was our girl.

While she was in this stupor, we began to operate, using specialized kidou to reinforce and lighten her body structure, add more spring to her muscular system, faster reflexes, better eyesight, the lot. In fact, we weren't sure how much of her was humane anymore - but we had one last thing to do. During field testing, we found that her nature itself was far too timid for an assassin, so we did the one thing we could to rectify this - one of our Division members placed a seal on the back of her neck, one that needed to be replenished monthly by him, or she would find herself returning back to her normal personality.

Once that was through, she was implemented into the Omnitsukido, ready for field work instantly. All basic information on her is still unknown to most of Soul Society, and this is a Black Project, even unknown by the Captain-Commander - we hope to create more like this for the Omnitsukido in the future.

List of Augmentations: Due to the modifications made onto her body by the Twelfth Division, AA has a lot of extra abilities brought about by Reiatsu bio-augmentation.
