| SHINIGAMI BasicsName:Adachi, Tsukiko; Shiromeki (White Flash)Gender: FemaleAge: 2,175; looks like she's in her early twenties.Personality: Tsukiko is a woman who will act kind and outwardly act like a caring individual who retains little to no grudges or any otherwise negative emotion. One would never associate words such as 'melancholy' and 'anger' with her persona. Every now and then she will have quite the monotonous tone, or an apathetic face, but never will she raise her voice or seem to grow annoyed. She takes care of her fellow squad members; acting like their mother, and treating them like her own pups.
7/10 times one will see Tsukiko with a face that doesn't bring about a happy word to mind, she will be in the heat of battle. If offered even a remote challenge, she will lose her happy-go-lucky attitude and grow consistent with a serious mood, nonchalant, or even emotionless. The other 3/10 times one will see Tsukiko's non-happy face will be when people address her as "Adachi", or make any reference to that name. She scorns such actions, without giving a reason as to why - that is, besides "jamming my foot where the sun don't shine". Inversely, when is confronted by pet names such as "Kiki", "Tsuki", "Tsu", "Kiko", she welcomes them with warm giggles or other compassionate gestures.
If one were to peel back the multiple layers of persona that Tsukiko holds, they would see a rotting corpse; malignant by nature, warped and bent over time despite the abomination already bore from the get-go. The woman puts on an outwardly playful and joyful nature, but the only emotions she honestly feels are enmity, disgust, spite, pity, envy, and contempt. She is truly a sinful being. She is extremely selfish inwardly and highly conceited. She will never show nor admit it, but she has heinous thoughts that reflect the blackness of her soul. She is a woman who has mastered her 'Poker Face', and is truly a plotter and schemer. The downfall of life as it is is her goal in life, which is another small reflection of her true self. Although, to this day, no one alive knows about her true self.
She has never necessarily been pushed to her breaking point emotionally, but a few certain things set her off to the point where she has to vent, or some key word(s) that will make her plot the death of that person in particular meticulously for weeks, all just for one person. Namely, Tsukiko doesn't like Takaharu being brought up - no one to the day knows they were sisters, all but the aunt and uncle, but nonetheless Takaharu Adachi is sore subject for her. Especially when favoritism for either side occurs - yes, even herself. She hates Takaharu that much. She also hates to see things like sibling rivalry, and more than anything spoiled people. She will twinge at the thought.AppearanceAppearance: Height: 5 feet, 11 inches.Weight:134.3lb.Eye Color: Faint BlueHair Color: Snow WhiteShinigami TechniquesKidō: - Hadō:
1. Shō (衝, Thrust) Pushes the target away from the caster.
4. Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.
11. Tsuzuri Raiden (製本電, Bound Lightning) Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through.
31. Shakkahō (赤火砲, Shot of Red Fire) Fires a ball of red energy at a target.
32. Ōkasen (黄火閃, Yellow Fire Flash) Fires a wide arc of yellow energy at a target.
33. Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down) Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power.
54. Haien (廃炎, Abolishing Flames) Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.
58. Tenran (闐嵐, Orchid Sky) A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.
63. Raikōhō (雷吼炮, Thunder Roar Cannon) Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.
63. Sōren Sōkatsui (双蓮蒼火墜, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down) This spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.
- Bakudō:
1. Sai (塞, Restrain) Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
4. Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope) An energy rope entangles the target's arms.
8. Seki (斥, Repulse) Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
9. Geki (撃, Strike) Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
9. Hōrin (崩輪, Disintegrating Circle) Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. the end of it remains in the hands of the user allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.
21. Sekienton (赤煙遁, Red Smoke Escape) Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb.
26. Kyokko (曲光, Curved Light) Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
30. Shitotsu Sansen (嘴突三閃, Beak-Piercing Triple Beam) Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of an equilateral triangle.
37. Tsuriboshi (吊星, Suspending Star) Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net.
39. Enkosen (円閘扇, Arc Shield) Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks.
58. Kakushitsuijaku (摑趾追雀, Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows) Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on. To activate it, the user must draw a circle on the ground, cut into four parts with a specific character in each. The incantation animates the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude.
Hohō:- Hohō:
Shunpo (瞬歩, Flash steps), a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow.
Senka (閃花, Flash Blossom): a special Shunpo technique where one moves directly to their opponent's back.
Utsusemi (空蝉, Cicada, referencing their molting): It allows for a movement at great speed leaving an afterimage behind. [Only can be used in Shikai & Bankai]
Hakuda:- Hakuda:
Oni Dekopin (鬼デコピン, "Oni Headpoke") a technique where a simple finger flick has enough physical force to send an opponent flying a considerable distance away, even with enough power to crash through multiple physical constructs.
Engi (鬼デ, "Amplification") - Tsukiko has been known to literally augment her body with raw reishi to either speed up her attacks to an almost shunpo-speed flurry of attacks in a short moment, or concentrate that same reishi to make every strike slower, but up to seven times the original strength.
Technique HistoryKidō: - Kidō:
During Tsukiko's younger years in the Shinigami Academy she was always well versed in the Demon Arts; Kido. Throughout the six years, many small time spells ranging from 1-33 were taught all of the students, and each were given handbooks that incidentally maxed the spell casting at 66. Practices were held throughout the daily, and Tsukiko showed little progress, keeping her range in the regularity and norm of the other students. It would be as soon as she received free time, she would travel out to the upper mountains of the outer rims, past Rukongai. In this, she would have a harder time breathing, thus allowing her to reach a higher aptitude of power when she was in the lower altitudes.
By the time Tsukiko was in her second year of the Shinigami Academy, she hadn't just ascertained Shikai, but contradictory to her fellow students who were still harnessing the basic principles of spells like #4, Byakurai, Tsukiko was advancing secretly onto more adept Hado. At the time in particular, she was working on #33, Sokatsui. Truly, Tsukiko was well versed in the Demon Arts, but she didn't want to show it - she was, after all, aiming for something more scientific or laid back.
Over the years Tsukiko would continue to train in her particular spot amongst the mountains. This spot in particular, over a mere four years would have been molded into a gigantic crater, creating solely from her usage of primarily Hado, while she would use her Bakudo spells on boulders or stray animals. Through this she would perpetuate her reiatsu and create her own, miniature spells, one by one.
By the time her six years in the Shinigami Academy had passed, she had surmounted her fellow peers nearly six times over. While they were bragging about being able to administer two to three Byakurai and a single Sokatsui, Tsukiko in particular was able to perpetuate the spell 63: Raikoho. Alas, she wasn't able to hold it for very long, and even when activated it was minute compared to a Captain of the Kido Corps's Raikoho, but nonetheless she could fire a level 63 spell.
Over the next few years, she would continue secretly training. Slowly she began understanding more concepts, the realization of reiatsu/reishi/reiryoku dawned on her, and thus perpetuating certain spells would become folly for her. While now accessing the innards of Soul Society was also easy, she was able to watch more highly integrated battles, and more so watch Kido Corps members display their magnificent knowledge. Somehow, Tsukiko could interpret the kido usage into knowledge and absorb it, thus allowing her to grasp further understanding on how to manage the Demon Arts. Before long she would be able to launch two simultaneous Raikoho with an ease of splendor. Also, it was through watching these Kido Corps members countless numbers of times execute Demon Arts without speaking the incantation, that it finally clicked for Tsukiko; how to do it, the technique known as Eishōhaki. To cast a spell without the incantation, only to offer a third of the overall power of the spell.
By the time she had become Captain of the 10th Division, she stopped visiting the mountain that she nearly reduced by halfway. It was clear to her at this point that she had a natural affinity to destruction, as she found ease in integrating Hado spells, rather than Bakudo. It was also within the time as Captain that she started founding more spells from the basic ones that were already predesignated; thus, modifying them. Hohō:- Hohō:
While practicing on her Shikai's abilities like any other Shinigami of the time, Tsukiko would begin to notice how her body could hardly handle the sheer velocity that Tenshin-ki was giving off. She couldn't keep up the footwork nearly as well as it required, so, she started training through intensive measures. As it was in her younger days, she went to the past's Onmikitsudo leader, pleading for help. The Commander-in-Chief wasn't very tempted by the offer, until Tsukiko displayed her Shikai, and how it injured it through being too quick for even herself, the holder of the zanpakuto.
This swayed the Onmitsukido leader, and he started training secretly with Tsukiko. He would show her all sorts of techniques and such, and she would watch intensely with eyes so large. She would begin to understand the how, and thus would start to work on it herself. The two fought countless times, although it was more of the Onmitsukido leader playing around. He was so quick, she would have to be constantly turning around if she didn't want to get knocked on her back. Occasionally they would indulge in foot races or 'tag'. She literally never won, although as the months passed, the leader started to admit, "You keep getting really close."
This trend in folly would continue and repeat nearly for an entire seven years. It would be finally that Tsukiko tagged the man through a mock display of the technique Utsusemi, the one he used on her so many times. Finally able to harness speed on several levels, the Onmitsukido leader told Tsukiko he had nothing left to teach her. It was then that she was able to progress amazingly with her Tenshi-ki. Not just was she faster and able to physically cooperate with Tenshi-ki's speed, but it was even faster by a plethora than it was all those years back.
Through the years of her excelling through the Division she was in, she had slowly become known by her white reishi that formed form her zanpakuto, and the fact that she was constantly displaying her newfound speed from the Shikai. She was the Shiromeki.
Hakuda:- Hakuda:
While Tsukiko never had any special training in the Hakuda - Hand-to-Hand combat field, she was already highly efficient. She was stronger than she was fast, despite her meek and slender size. During her entire time of the Gotei 13, she had always been watching and learning. Nothing in particular came across her, but during battles she would be cornered into a Taijutsu fight, and forced to use her body. Accordingly, she would use what she had learned through miscellaneous events and attack using solely improvisation. It was when Tsukiko achieved her Bankai that she was able to start administering Hakuda more efficiently, for due to her ability, "Imagination", she had to create several objects and scenarios instantaneously in her mind. Thus, she would register things quicker, and fabricate techniques upon a mere thought.
ZanpakutôZanpakutô Spirit: Tenshi-ki (Angel Tree)Zanpakutô Appearance: Tenshi-ki takes the appearance of a young man, no older than 16. He is tall and wears radiant silver armor that covers his legs, waist, arms, and shoulders. The shoulder pieces have fake silver wings connected to them. The boy has a gymnastic body suit underneath that. He has blue eyes and extremely pale, almost sickly skin.Zanpakutô Personality: Similar to Tsukiko, Tenshi-ki is a friendly, but quiet being. Although, Tenshi-ki grows bonds very quickly, gets attached to people that Tsukiko interacts with, and will cry if his feelings are hurt. Despite this all, he is a cynical being above all.Zanpakutô Realm: Tenshi-ki's realm is an endless stretch of a heavenly city. It takes the appearance of Rukongai; where Serireitei would be, there is simply an empty crater. Everything there, instead of wood and other miscellaneous items, the Tenshi-ki-Rukongai is made out of clouds, thus giving it no definition almost at all. The sun is always overhead, staring down directly at the center of where Seireitei would be.Sealed Zanpakutô :A simplistic and regular looking katana. The tsuba is pure golden, and the hilt is twined in a white fabric. The sheathe itself is pure white with a golden piece twirling around thrice near the top.Shikai Description:Tenshi-ki's blade will simply absorb its sheathe and start glowing a radiant white.- "Kai, Katayoku no Tenshi":
Shikai Abilities:Jouka (Purification)A single touch by her katana will create a burning sensation, but no burn will surface. The burning sensation is as strong as the victim; thus making it feel even hotter the more reiatsu the person has. The burning sensation will remain until Tsukiko leaves Shikai, whether that's through Bankai or resealing. If "Kai, Katayoku no Tenshi" is used before she enters Bankai or reseals, the burn will leave, but it will tear open the wound even more. [Cannot be used with "Kai, Katayoku no Tenshi"]Kai, Katayoku no Tenshi (Release, One-Winged Angel)Upon the commands "Kai", Tenshi-ki's abilities will manifest. A white flame will emit from Tenshi-ki's blade, then twirl viciously up Tsukiko's arm and tear away her sleeve and form an angelic looking wing out of those same white flames. A weaker, almost nonexistent white flamed wing will appear on her opposing shoulder. Tsukiko grows a plethora times quicker; similar to the Shunko technique, but it does not give her any more boons. (As seen above)- Hisaki no Tenshi (Flames of the Angel)Once One-Winged Angel is released, Hisaki no Tenshi can be used. In this, Tsukiko can merely swing her katana and the white flames will manifest and excel forward in an arc of pure reishi. When the white flames hit their victim, it will be a purely physical force. The more reiatsu put into the swing, the bigger the arc, the stronger the "force" is. She can create Arcs as big as trees at the sake of width, or giant balls of white flames as wide as she is tall. These flames hardly cost any reiatsu, but have low accuracy. [Can only be used while Katayoku no Tenshi is active; can be used in conjunction with Chikara no Tenshi]- Chikara no Tenshi (Force of the Angel)Once One-Winged Angel is released, Chikara no Tenshi can be used. In this, Tsukiko can have the white flames manifest on her empty arm or legs. When she does, every kick and punch, even a push or flick, will be greatly amplified. [Can only be used while Katayoku no Tenshi is active; can be used in conjunction with Hisako no Tenshi]- Shugotenshi (Guardian Angel)Tsukiko will gain control of her wing and shroud herself in it when a reiatsu based attack is threatening to hit her. When the reiatsu attack hits the wing, nearly half of the reiatsu will be absorbed and can be thrown back at the user, but the halfway powered down reiatsu attack will hit Tsukiko. [Can only be used while Katayoku no Tenshi is active; effect moves up to 3/4 in Bankai]Release:"Bless the Fallen, Tenshi-ki."Bankai Description: Niou-ki (Guardian Deva Kings Tree)- "Kai, Shugotenshi":
Bankai Abilities:[All abilities from Shikai carry over, stronger]Souzou (Imagination)Tsukiko's offense and defense is limited solely to her surroundings and her mind. Simply by willing it so, she can instantaneously conjure any weapon of any sorts by drawing in reishi from her surroundings, giving it as much weight or as little weight as she feels necessarily. All she has to do is be aware of her attacker, and in that instance a defense can be conjured; she doesn't even need to be holding it. The larger the creation, the more reiatsu it spends. When she attacks with the weapons, they will have the same affect as the weapons they were modeled after. She can conjure at maximum two at once.Zenkou (Benevolence)While able to conjure weapons, Tsukiko usually sticks to hand-to-hand combat. The radiant silver platelets on her arms and legs can manifest flames, which were dubbed benevolence merely because of the holy nature it possesses. When simply touched by the radiant white hands Adachi has, one will be plagued by one of three effects (only one can be used at a time): - Light TunnelWhile the touch does not affect the victim physically, it tampers with their psyche, allowing for Tsukiko to tamper with their coordination. This makes whoever Tsukiko touches see a sudden flash of extremely bright light that is not actually there at the exact moment of the physical contact. In this, it will allow for a short moment of confusion on their part. Afterward, the person becomes partially blind as long as Light Tunnel is being used. - Light ScoldThe white flames that manifest, upon choosing to, if Tsukiko touches somebody it will give the feeling of a temporary burning sensation. The pain lasts only a few moments, but it is as painful as the user can imagine pain to be - making it, literally, the worst pain of their life. Despite this, there is no actual burn. Her actual attacks are completely physical, and can only hurt her victim depending on how strong she hit them. The usage of Light Scold with singe Tsukiko's hands more and more every use along with drain a reiatsu rapidly. - Light ImpactThis is a complete physical domination of sorts. Upon simply hitting the victim, an extremely strong force will be compelled outward instantly, making each blow from her seem like an elephant tackle.Tenshi (Angel)Tsukiko can literally fly at shunpo speeds using her reiatsu wings.BackgroundHistory/Background: - Human; Two Peas In A Pod:
Yoku and Miya Chi, twins bore into the world of the humans with extreme wealth and purity. Both of the twins were girls, the younger one, Miya, was named after their mother, and the older one, Yoku, was named after their grandmother; a scandalous whore. The both of the girls were born with a soft white hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. Yoku had paler eyes, while Miya had paler hair. They were two peas in a pod. This story in particular is about Yoku.
It was a simplistic life that Yoku and Miya lived, both in harmony for the most part. Miya by the age of three had grown to be ill, and had a small growth stunt, while Yoku had an abnormal growth spurt; mentally and physically. Throughout the child ages, Miya would always get what she wanted, and she knew she would get it - she was a spoiled brat. Yoku knew that Miya knew, but secretly Miya was merely wanting attention from her older sister, whether it was negative or positive - a child only knows one method, after all. Yoku would constantly bully and patronize her little sister, Miya. By the age of 10, Miya was a whole six inches shorter than the norm, and Yoku was six inches taller. All the other children would mock and criticize Yoku, and she grew to feel only scorn, while Miya was the "cute" one who was ever so troubled. This, of course, enraged Yoku beyond compensation. She was silently filled with resentment and rage. She resented her parents for their evil of naming her Greed, growing her so deprived of attention, and letting this rampart of Miya being spoiled continue endlessly. Despite this all, Yoku continued life with a smile, and the more things went south, the happier she got, outwardly, at least. She would put on the mask of love and compassion, acting out the role of the good big sister. Little did anyone know, Yoku was leading Miya into destruction. Yoku would make up entirely devious and small schemes that would send Miya to the hospital, get her hurt, or other miscellaneous small things that would lead her to smallscale ruin.
As the years went on, so did the spoiling, and so did the schemes. They were the only thing keeping Yoku sane, after all. Throughout the years, Yoku would continue to ruin things for Miya; setting things up so paint would spill all over her little sister when she entered the prom, paying men to take inappropriate pictures of her, and overall scandalize her life. Contrary to the comics Yoku read, these stunts never turned around and made Miya all the more popular and lovable - Yoku loved this.
By the age of 18, Yoku was hell near ready to move out. She had been saving money for over a decade. But, it was to her dismay that when she walked by Miya's room, she heard some whispering from the paper thin walls. Miya was talking to a man. A man she knew.. Yoku could only discern whispers. "She paid me..." "Dirty pictures..." "Ruin your reputation..."
Enraged, Yoku marched to the kitchen, grabbed the first sharp thing she spotted, and came marching back. As soon as she reached the door, she heard Miya crying so loud it was disgusting. Yoku hardly cared. That's what the bitch gets, she thought. With authority, Yoku kicked down the door separating her and her victim. Without even thinking twice about it, she came at the traitor with a knife. He went into a frightened frenzy and thoughtlessly jumped out the window, landed on the ground. A crunch was heard, and when Yoku looked out the window he was running away, cradling his shoulder. Oh well. She quickly turned to face that midget sister she despised, and her sister stared ever so surprised. Then, suddenly, fell to the ground. Clearly she passed out from the shock. Oh well. She could now play this off as a bad memory.
More haste come about and she called their mother into the room, quickly disposing of the knife by throwing it through the window. The mother came hobbling into the room, slurring, "What do you want, Yoku?" As soon as mother saw the body of Yoku laying on the floor, she started crying, rushed over and yelled and hollered aimlessly, aiming to get a response. There was nothing. "We have to get her to a hospital! I heard her flailing so I came in immediately! I think a boy tried to rape her!" Exclaimed Yoku. Luckily, they lived down the street from the hospital.
Within two minutes, two nurses rushed through the house and picked Miya up and trudged along to the hospital. Of course Yoku and mother followed. When they got to the hospital, they were told to wait.
Hours passed and no response from the doctors. Finally, a doctor came out and said "Mrs. Chi?" Both Yoku and mother jumped up, quickly rushing to the side of their daughter and sister. "It seems your daughter has fallen into a coma. Her mind ran too quick for her to handle, and it shut down. We are putting her on life support, otherwise she may die." Of course mother cried. But, to afford the hospital bill, she had to return to work eventually. Yoku, on the other hand, was "grief stricken". "I could have done something!" She would whine for show. Secretly, this was her victory. Whenever Miya woke up, Yoku would just pull the plug and watch that sly bitch die before her eyes...
- Human; Setting The Stage For Murder:
After nearly a year of sitting around, watching Miya, Miya finally woke up - although, Yoku was no where near. Although, when she came to the hospital, mother came running by with rejoice in her eyes. The tears of rejoice. That happiness was to no avail when she spoke to Yoku, "Miya is awake! I can't believe you missed it, you damn ingrate! She's been awake for several hours! She just got done eating her first meal in months! But, I have to go, go say hi to your sister will you? Don't be such a selfish bitch all the time." With that, mother brushed passed Yoku. It took all her energy not to murder mother there and then. She was going to work everyday to help pay for the life support bill (only to kill Miya herself, of course).
Rushing to the room, Yoku saw Miya and grinned. "Well, hello sister." A doctor quickly interjected on his way out, saying that she couldn't talk, for it would rupture her vocal chords and make her mute. She would have to go to physical therapy, he said. She grinned. There was no tattling anymore.
As the doctor left, Yoku neared Miya, and eyed the life support cable deviously. Miya knew what was going to happen - she remembered her last memories. She started crying, sobbing, and was weakly edging to the otherside of the hospital bed. It was to no avail. Yoku slowly bent down, running her hands along the cable. "This is it, you spoiled cunt. How does it feel, knowing these are your last seconds?" Without waiting for an answer, Yoku looked down at the cable and pulled it, and slowly stood up. Suddenly, a sensation of warm and cold whitewashed her mind. Her body suddenly grew sore, mainly her neck. She looked down. There was a single chopstick that was lodged into her throat;her gullet was penetrated. "Y-You... Y-Y-you b-bit-" blood clogged her throat and she coughed it up on Miya, whose eyes were rolling back into her head now. Miya started to weakly spoke, her voice as rough and deathly as a graveyard, "I.. Only.. wanted you.. to.. love me.." She coughed this out, blood spurting from her mouth.
These were the last words spoken by either of them. Reality faded into black, and Yoku fell to the ground, blood covering Yoku's neck and blood covering most of Miya all together...
- Spirit Citizen; Wash, Rebirth, & Repeat?:
Light. A bright light. Reach for it, tug, pull. Life. A girl. "Tsukiko... What a beautiful baby girl."
Tsukiko, a small baby girl born into a family of Shinigami; the mother and father both Lieutenants of the Gotei 13. It was as clear as day what she was meant to be. Even her parents could sense it. She had a 'bright' aura about her. A pure girl born with pure white hair.
Tsukiko Adachi, named after her mother, Tsuki Adachi. Her father, Taka Adachi. Widely known as the Moon Hawk couple. While her parents were rarely around to directly take care of Tsukiko, due to their responsibilities to keep this and the next plane safe from Hollows and other threats, Tsukiko's aunt and uncle took care of her all the time. She had grown extremely intimate and close with her aunt and uncle, considering them second parents if anything else.
As a toddler, Tsukiko was introduced to many themes of the Shinigami life. From an early age she was slowly integrating into the life of a Soul Reaper. Her mother had a second gift, besides being an excellent Soul Reaper; she was an excellent artist. Mother would help father in the integration of the Shinigamifying Tsukiko, in which she would draw small cartoon-esque representations of several characters and basic elements of the Shinigami life. The first 13 would always be the symbols and names of the Gotei 13, and she would identify them. Others would be differentiating what to slay; Hollow cards, who to listen to; Captain cards, and the teammates and family; regular Shinigami.
While Tsukiko's spiritual pressure grew and grew and grew over the years, she was to be named the 'Official Adachi' by her father; the heir to both of their thrones. "You will be our heir, our successor, Adachi-chan," father would say. "You will be the bestest Shinigami ever existed," father would always say. She wore the name Adachi proudly as a child, verbalizing it for anyone within ear range to hear. The first thing someone knew about this small girl with pale skin and white hair was, "I am Adachi! I will be the bestest Shinigamis ever seened!"
- Spirit Citizen - Shinigami; Integration and Annihilation:
By the time Tsukiko was 100 years old, she had already accessed her zanpakuto through intense endurance and strength training with her father in his spare time, and speed and stamina training with her mother. Father would always be the one to push her beyond her limits, attack and assault her for her own good, and tell her, "The ingredients to success are 10% hope, 10% courage, 30% Adachi, and 50% Tsukiko. You got that?" This would always get her hyper. Since she had accessed her zanpakuto, Tenshi-ki, training regiments grew to a whole other level. They were rigorous, endless, and filled with cuts and bruises. While father took the harsh approach, her mother took the softer one; even though the training was rough, mother always gave Tsukiko time to meditate and try to contact her zanpakuto's spirit, to communicate and converse with it - learn about it, become one, even. She would, almost every single day of her life, train rigorously. She grew and grew, but to no avail was there Shikai, the release her parents wished for so. They planned on letting her go to the Shinigami School once she turned 150. It would be under their training that they were hoping Tsukiko would dominate the school, and perhaps graduate early, and without doubt have a seat reserved just for her.
To their initial dismay, the age 150 came about and there was still no Shikai. Nonetheless, Tsukiko enrolled into the Shinigami Academy. It was again to their dismay that she hadn't procured a spot in any of the Divisions. She was ranked "Average" in the eyes of the Gotei 13. Thus, she would train hard just like anyone else and hope to grab a spot in a Division before a century passed.
Of course, Tsukiko was only hiding her powers. She was afraid of them. She had, at one point, drew out her inner-power. She woke up, and the entire house was brighter than she could handle. She understood so much more, and her reiatsu flowed from her. She destroyed so much stuff she touched, she couldn't handle it. That was nearly half a century ago, shortly after she managed to access her zanpakuto. She thought they would label her a freak, for some reason. Nonetheless, when she enrolled into the Academy, she never revealed her powers out of fear. She kept them hidden a secret, even denied them.
As the years progressed, Tsukiko had turned 200 years old and finally managed to secure a spot as the 9th Seat in the Thirteenth Division. Her parents showed their disapproval. They only wished she was better. Of course mother was never so blatant about it, but at least she tried.
Tsukiko went on countless missions in a short span of time. By the time she was 225, she had already procured 5th Seat - a whole four seats upgrade. She did this through sheer force. They told her few people even got a seat without Shikai, but it was not allowed to be 4th Seat and above without at least Shikai. She accepted this. She would display it when the time was right.
This day in particular, when she came to visit her mother who had recently retired from the Gotei 13, she was surprised to see a small baby child with pure white hair. "You're just in time to see her." Said mother. "Huh? What is that thing?" Suddenly, hidden emotions bubbled up. Hatred. Disgust. Jealousy. Envy. She wanted to be cradled like that again, to be loved unconditionally. "This is your new little sister. We decided to name her Takaharu. Takaharu Adachi. She will carry on our name to pride, Tsukiko, aren't you happy? Father picked this stranded girl up on a mission." Adachi? This stray mut thing was being called an Adachi? Heir? Successor? That was Tsukiko! Tsukiko? She hadn't been called the name in centuries! SHE was THE Adachi, not this mini bitch!
Tsukiko merely blinked, unable to quite process this. She shook her head, trying not to show how her body quivered. She turned around, and left the small place without another word. Throughout the course of a year, sheer disgust and hatred boiled from the pit of her stomach. SHE was the only daughter, the only loved one. Her parents didn't need another little mini bitch. SHe wanted all the love. All the attention! IT WAS HERS.
She came home one day, only to see her father, mother, aunt and uncle all surrounding little Takaharu. They were integrating her into the Shinigami lifestyle. The same thing they did for her. This was blasphemy. It was unacceptable. "Oh, you're just in time to see Adachi here 'slay' the Hollow!" Unable to swallow the enmity of the girl anymore, Tsukiko slowly withdrew her zanpakuto. "Am I not good enough?" She said with the utmost amount of resentment. She was scowling; bloody scorn dripping from her lip that was being bit down upon. "Ts-Tsukiko, honey, this isn't like you.. What's wrong? You don't want to upset your little sister..." Not like her. Something twitched in Tsukiko's mind, and she slowly came to smile. "Not like me, you say? Is this better mother?" Tsukiko didn't just smile, she grinned from ear to ear. Her eyes were wide. Then, her father suddenly got up, withdrawing his zanpakuto. "Now, let's not do anything too rash, Adachi." He said cautiously. He was drawing his sword. Was the baby girl's life THAT important? Really worth protecting? "Oh, so now you want to call me Adachi. That's funny. Now, sit, or I will kill that thing." She pointed her zanpakuto at the baby girl. With that, the mother shrieked and started crying, cradling her baby girl tightly. "Don't hurt my baby girl!" Again, something snapped in Tsukiko's mind. Baby girl, eh? Then father interjected once again, "C'mon now, just put your zanpakuto down NOW! I won't hold back if you don't. You can't even release your Shi-" "Bless the fallen." Tsukiko says quietly while her father continues to babble. As soon as he says, Shi-, she was already right in front of him with her hand around his throat. Her hand was glowing a bright white, and burning his mind away. She squeezed his throat, and he kicked and struggled, but to no avail. It was over. He became limp, and she threw him aside. Mother still cradled the small girl. "Is she.. That important?" Tsukiko sighed, "Kai" She said. The white flames enveloped her arm and created a wing. One single slice of her zanpakuto and mother goes flying back; direct impact to the head, then she hit the wall. Tsukiko went over to check on her, and her was broken open. She would bleed out within minutes. "There's no surviving that." She said. When she turned around, the aunt, uncle, and little Takaharu were gone. She frowned and slowly proceeded outside, looking around. They were no where to be found... Oh well. It seemed as though Seireitei was under attack by Hollow, due to the alarm. She had to go immediately. Another day, perhaps.
- Shinigami; All The Kings Horses and All The Kings Men:
Centuries had passed since the incident with Takaharu and her parents. It was played off as a break in. After all, it was strangulation and blunt force. They were caught by surprise by someone with clearly a lot of strength. Through the years, Tsukiko had retaken the name Tsukiko and integrated to the 12th Division, now at the age of 550 a Lieutenant. On the outside, she was training vigorously to access her Bankai and surpass the Captain of the 12th Division, although she had already accessed Bankai nearly 100 years back, along with going through some intense studies and private experiments, even though she was pretty much finished with her Hollowfication research. She was known as the smartest female of the time, if not the smartest and most meticulous scientist and strategist.
It was one individual day that she would have seen what looked like a carbon copy of herself. Long white hair, although quite messy. Light blue eyes. Pale skin. She was the Commander-in-Chief of the Onmitsukido, and the Captain of the Second Division. It was truly eerie. She approached the woman, and asked for a name. "Takaharu Adachi," she said. Something snapped in Tsukiko. "You must be Tsukiko-chain? It's nice to meet you, I've heard many rumors about the broad with brains." Tsukiko stared mindlessly and slowly backed up, "Y-Yeah.. Yeah.." She then turned around and sped down the sidewalk, going anywhere but there. As she turned the corner, she withdrew her zanpakuto and stabbed into into the ground, biting into her lip once more. It was that girl. And she was even further than Tsukiko herself... Blasphemy! Was she really better...? Nonsense.
After that day, Tsukiko worked vigorously to finish her "Hollow Juice" as she liked to call it. Pure concentrated Hollow and Shinigami soul, cooperating at the perfect ratio. It only took one more year, due to her newfound devotion. With that finished, she resigned from the 12th Division and applied for the 10th. Within another ten years she soared through the ranks, displayed her Bankai, and trampled over the 10th Division Captain, thus claiming her position. She then started to round up her lackeys, and told them about how this girl, Takaharu Adachi, she was sure that this was the girl who killed her parents. She wanted Takaharuo Adachi abducted and brought to her lab. And so, her lackeys did this that very night, in absolute devotion to their Captain, and the "threat" of this "monster" killing so many.
That night, Takaharu was brought Tsukiko. She injected the Hollowfication serum into her little sister, and threw her outside. Within moments, there were alarms sounding. The Second Division Captain had hollow powers, and was rampaging mindlessly. All according to plan.
After that night, people were mourning the loss of Takaharu. Apparently she was extremely popular and loved. More so than herself? Hah, they would all die under her hands.
It would be after all the mourning ended that Tsukiko would start plotting the downfall of Soul Society from the inside out. Of course, her plan needed to be picture perfect; thus, she waited, and plotted it out. She got to know every single entity that resided in Soul Society. Every single one of them. Their strengths. Weaknesses. Loves. Hates. Pet peeves. Family. Everything. But, unfortunately the Hollow project was far too dangerous. Despite Tsukiko having developed the perfect Hollowfication serum, it was far too dangerous to research anymore, let alone without unlimited access like she did have in the 12th Division.
Tsukiko has been plotting for over 1,600 years now; she lives happily, or at least pretending so, still meticulously plotting the downfall of society as it were, and silently keeping her sister a secret from the public. Not just her sister in general, but the things she did.
