Hollow slaying: The best way to meet new friends...and maybe more than friends?! {Tai and Rin}

'You felt that didn't you?' The voice of a woman, a evil tone in her voice. 'Maybe that's someone that you can go ahead and go kill.' "Quiet! Akane, i keep telling you this you are not going to get me to kill anyone, got it?" 'That's what you think' '''Tai i think you should investigate what it is either way, maybe it's friendly''' Came the voice of another, a motherly tone in her voice, that was Tomoe the other zanpakuto spirit that inhabited Tai's Zanpakuto sword. "We will, i just need to deal with this one last pest." Came Tai's voice, a man standing there about 6 foot tall was standing over a bunch of dead hollow's that were slowly dissipating from the realm of the living his hair was silver and his eyes were almost blood red as he then slowly turned facing a hollow that was about twice his size. '''Defeat it with just your hands, Tai.''' "You know i hate using just my hands on these bloody things.." Just then he stabbed the sword into the ground and then started to walk toward the thing, it wasn't moving almost like it was petrified, the hollow standing there was scared to fight him but now that he had dropped his sword the hollow lashed out in a last ditch effort to try and save it's own life.

Raising his hand into the air there was suddenly a loud sonic boom as the hollow's bare hand collided with Tai's own palm. "You thought that you could kill me because i dropped my sword? Then you would be, Dead Wrong." He vanished from side only to appear right inside of the hollow's reach, his fist then went right toward the hollow's stomach with deadly speed as it impacted right where he had placed it, the hollow's eyes went white as it flew back. Then flash stepped quickly he picked up the sword and then began walking away from the now dead hollow. '''Your getting better.''' "Thank you." Then he started flash stepping, avoiding hollow's that were every which way he was moving so fast that they didn't even noticed him. He then appeared where a girl was fighting, he felt some pressure and he could hear a very odd sound that sounded like someone singing.

The dust was blowing every which way right now and he saw that there was 3 hollow that she had missed, did she not notice them or something or what was it? 'Let her die!' '''No Save her''' "You know i will save her Tomoe, no worries about that." Drawing his sword, almost like it was second nature he shouted "Kuriakatto!" Just then he drew his sword and slashed out toward the heads of the hollow's horizontally then flash stepped in front of them, not facing them as suddenly the hollow's died. Kuriakatto was a way to slash in the air using water to amplify the slash making the slash travel through the air and go directly at where he was slashing.

"You missed 3, i hope you don't mind that i killed them like that, i didn't want them to attack you." He was now standing closer to her and realized that the sound that he was hearing right now was actually her. "Can you cut off that music please, it's a bit of annoying because of the pressure that it's emitting right now." He could tell that the pressure he felt only moments ago was because of the music. "Training out here all alone isn't great, you know?" He stated, knowing that he sounded like a hypocrite when he said that but that's because he knew he was strong enough and needed to train as much as he could to get stronger, even if it was up against a stronger opponent he would not care, he would fight them no matter what happened.

"Rin Akio, pleased to meet you, i am Tai Yuudai, Inka of Suiō-ryū." Inka was the leader of the said technique that he had learned from his zanpakuto spirits, Suiō-ryū has been dated back to the early 1600s in ancient Japan. "Haven't trained for a month now, well then how about i escort you back to the nearby city if you would not mind, ill be able to protect you and you won't have to lift a finger. The reason i am actually out here is to actually train, Akane and Tomoe usually have me do this from time to time if i don't have a sparring partner or something like that. Also nice to meet you Lily, seems that you guys can take care of each other really well." Just then Akane and Tomoe had appeared next to him, Tomoe was the gentler one of the two and Akane was a blood thirsty monster that would try and devour anything that she could. 'Nice to meet you, my name is Tomoe Gozen, that over there she will probably not introduce herself but she is Akane Chi.' '''Hmpf.''' Akane Chi grunted at what she had just said her name and that she would not introduce herself. Akane was the one that was purely dressed in a kimono with two swords at her waist and Tomoe was the one with two swords on her right side and 3 on the left, she wore armor almost like she was ready for war.

"The closest city is Karakura Town, now if you would please follow me i will go ahead and lead you there." He stated as he then put his sword back into the sheathe, his two zanpakuto spirits disappearing as he did so and then he placed his left hand right under the guard, in a second he could flick his thumb out on his left side and draw the sword out in a very quick rapid movement that almost was unrivaled. That's what he had been taught to do for so long, the art of the sword, he needed to make up for the lack of shear power that he didn't have.

He smiled at her, it was a warm loving smile, he then turned around and started walking toward the city only to turn around and look at her. "You coming, Rin-san?" He questioned as off in the distance there it shined the domed city of Karakura Town Japan. No hollows were in sight not that he could tell.

After they all had introduced themselves Tai had waved his hand dismissing the zanpakutou spirits that he had decided to show Rin, he didn't usually show people them unless he trusted them. This was the odd thing, he didn't trust people very quickly but with this girl he did, he didn't realize it at that moment but some kind of spark had started in his mind and in his heart, one that would slowly awake and florish into something beautiful. After he had asked if she was coming he could see that she had raised her eye brow a little bit, and the sudden feeling of anxiety had begun to overwhelm him in his stomach, he dismissed it when she had told him that he didn't have to be so formal with him and that just calling her Rin was perfectly fine.

"Sorry, i was normally taught to be so formal by my masters, but i guess in this occasion with a friend then it really doesn't matter." He chuckled, this was the first time that he had really begun to let loose, he was so tense most of the time because of all the training, it would be nice to get away from it all and hang out with this girl for a little while, she seemed carefree in a way that he couldn't describe. The only thing was that he needed to do stuff while he was in town. Well that's what he thought until the question came up.

"I was wondering, do you think you can stay a little while with me in town? It's just that I don't usually have company..."

He paused for a moment, kept walking, his heart stopped for what seemed like a second as he turned around with a smile, he was good at keeping composed even though he was a bit flustered by all of this. He knew he had something to do but he couldn't bring himself to say no. With a smile on his face. "I would love to accompany such a lovely lady." If one thing was for sure he always did get his charm and his romantic behavior from his own father. "Now all we have to do is get to town, huh?" It wasn't that much farther to get into town.

Within a couple of minutes they made it to Japan's Karakura Town, one of the 7 Major cities in the world that were left. He walked over toward the terminal to open up the gates as he started to punch the numbers in, which only a few people if any knew at all to get the gates open. "I am actually from the Vizard Corps. One of the higher up people in the organization." He chuckled a little bit. "That's how i am able to open the gates to all 7 of the cities." Just as he stopped talking the gates began to slowly open, you could hear the gears turning, it was extremely loud and then you felt a spiritual pressure from the other side of the gate, it was at least as strong as Tai.

Tai just walked right up to the person that was standing there, it was the gate guardian, a person of the human race that always would watch out over the gates and make sure that everything was okay. "Tai Yuudai, Vizard Corps Captain." Holding his identification up toward the person that was standing in front of them. "And my friend, Rin Akio."

He smiled as she turned away when he called her a lovely lady, this was a great change of pace for his life. His smile only growing wider after she called him a charmer. Chuckling a little bit as he was then talking to the guard and he let them pass without a single question, now walking alongside of her there wasn't that much of a silence it wasn't a awkward silence really it was a calming silence of two people that seemed to enjoy each others company. The artificial breeze blew against his flesh as he walked along side of her, their arms not intertwined because of Rin locking her arm with his, it was like she didn't want to let go or anything. He was getting a bit warmer as he walked with her, everyone looking at them and noticing that Tai was one of the organization's top people, they were whispering stuff about her being his girlfriend and other stuff like that which made him slightly blush but he quickly stopped when he looked over at her and smiled at her, she was touching her hand to her cheek and he could tell what she was doing, it was like one of those movies which the girl just touches her face to see how warm she is.

"You a little feverish or something there, Rin?" He smiled at her, you could probably tell he had been blushing a little bit too but it wasn't that noticeable because he could control his emotions to a certain degree, normally but right now it was like a fire that was slowly burning into a blazing inferno. Looking around you could tell that this was the part of the town that had remained in tact, and actually to the right of them was a shop where the shop keeper was eyeing them a little bit, he had a green and white hat on and was a bit ominous but Tai didn't pay much attention to him because he knew if he did that it wouldn't be a great idea to drag Rin over there.

"Do i come here often, you ask? No this is actually my first time at this location, but i have been to all of the other cities and i heard from a good source that there was a good place to eat a few miles away, would you like to get a bite to eat, you are probably hungry from wandering to Karakura town like you were before. He was taking note to a Japanese place that was a few blocks from here. The Chief had recommended it and they had a tab that he could easily put all of the food that they wanted on, of course the tab was basically free and you could only get a limited amount of food because the Vizard Corp wasn't that rich but it held it's own, they mainly had this tab at a couple places because they were the defenders of the 7 cities that were around the globe. "We basically go around and make sure that everything is okay, check the surrounding areas and stuff like that to make sure that we don't need more help then we already have in a certain area. This is my last stop before i go back to the base. But if i may ask, Rin, why are you around here anyway, you never really told me, where are you from?" He questioned her, she hadn't really said anything about why she was even around Karakura town in the first place and where she came from before.

After he had asked her if she was hungry all of the sudden he heard a rumble, he couldn't help but laugh, that rumbling couldn't be mistaken from anything, Rin was hungry and Tai knew it very well. Letting out a small laugh at the fact that, that did just happen he felt kind of bad for doing so because she was blushing now because of that. The wind blew a little bit, even though there was no weather outside of the domes, it was funny that the humans actually wanted to keep the weather, it made it so they wouldn't be reminded every single day that everything outside was practically filled with death vacant lands where no animals were, no plants grew or anything like that. "I thought so, you are hungry." Then she admitted it, she was hungry and she told him to lead the way to the restaurant that he was just talking about. They kept walking, arm and arm, people saying things right and left, they knew they both weren't human and were Vizards of course. These were all people who had no spiritual power at all, that's why they moved out of the way. Vizards and that sort scared them because even though they were being protected by Vizards, they knew how much power that Vizards had, and by human nature it was alright to be scared of them.

"Well..." she started, "To tell you the truth, I cant remember where I'm from. My family's been moving around and traveling for as long as I can remember.... We've never really had a set home...it was usually just hotels and inns...camping...staying with family members, that sort of stuff. I'm an only child so my parents found it easier to travel around, you know, less arguing and stuff" Rin tilted her head slightly to look up at Tai, she told him one part of his question, now for the other, well, she was hoping that he somewhat figured out why she was here.
"As for why I'm here...I was traveling, checking out some places. I think I was here once before...but it was so long ago" she answered. As they drew closer to the restaurant Tai had spoken about earlier she started to wonder about him. What was his life like?...

"What about you? Where are you from?" asking him his question.

"So you guys were nomads, huh? People that actually lived outside of the cities or did you live in one of the cities until recently? You'd think that living like that would be harder, especially on you, you probably didn't have very many friends when you were younger, huh?" He wasn't trying to be rude but it might come off that way, he just felt bad for what she had to go through a lot, but it was for a good cause. Giving one thing up for less arguing and stuff, was it really worth it? "Traveling, a person like you, i used to do that for sometime until the Chief had found me and recruited me, it's a job and it's a place to live and meet people, it's actually quite nice, and we can ask for vacations and stuff." Stretching a little bit and yawning slightly he then looked back down at her. "Maybe you'd like to come to the Vizard Headquarters and see exactly what i mean by all of this, i think you'd like it."

But just then the sky went dark, Tai felt something wet land on his head, looking up he realized what it was. All of the sudden it started to rain, it was a small drizzle but it was still going to get them even mildly wet. Just then he looked over at her and smiled a little bit. Letting out a small amount of reaitsu to not harm the citizen's that were trying to hurry home the water was pushed away from both of them. "Didn't want to get that pretty face of yours wet, Rin." He smiled at her, one reason why he liked to go out to the cities was because of this, this was one of his favorite things ever, the rain that fell from the sky, with his powers of the water he usually had a hard time with trying to get the manipulation of water from the H2O molecules outside of the cities because of how dry the area out there had become, that's why he would usually stock up on water in the sheathe of his own sword, the water stayed there and whenever he needed it he could pull out his sword and use it but it took a lot less reaitsu to do that then it did to get H2O from the air.

They kept walking until they came up to this restaurant that they had been walking to for about 5 minutes now. Tai's reaitsu was still repelling the water that was coming down toward them until Tai stopped right in front of the place and looked up at it and read the sign, trying to remember if this was the right place, and it was. He then looked down at Rin. "Shall we head in, Rin?" He questioned her as he walked with her still arm and arm and looked at the host that was going to give them a seat. Tai showed him something on a piece of paper and the host smiled and nodded slightly.

"Right this way, Sir." The host had said as he grabbed two menu's and then started walking toward the back of the place, passing some tables that were full of people and then they made it to the back room where he then placed the menu's onto the table, this was mainly not to freak out guests and allow them to eat in peace because of seeing a Vizard or anyone with that amount of power would unsettle some. "The waiter will be with you in a moment." Bowing slightly he then walked out of the room.

Tai turned his attention back toward Rin who he had pulled the seat out for her allowing her to sit down. "Where i lived and stuff like that, my Dad is a Vizard that actually was in the war that was not too long ago, he's alive don't worry about that, but my family is a Vizard family and we have mainly grown up around Karakura town, we had a beach house for a great while but after the war Dad decided to move to the inner part of the city in case he needed to be called upon." He smiled at her and then sat down at his seat waiting for the waiter to come in.
